Science in the Summer

GSK Science in the Summer^™ in Pittsburgh

When school is out, science is in! GSK Science in the Summer™ keeps the learning going for students at local libraries.

Students entering second through sixth grade are invited to register and attend this FREE, hands-on enrichment program that makes learning about science fun. Sponsored by GSK and administered by the Franklin Institute in partnership with Carnegie Science Center, the experiment-oriented courses are available at local libraries.

Students will learn about a range of topics relating to Sports Science. Each day will offer lessons filled with hands-on activities exploring the relationship between Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry and Materials Science as well as the use of technology in support of a successful athlete.

All students must pre-register to attend.

Space is limited. Contact your local library to register.
