Preschool Assembly Programs

Our 30-minute assembly programs can accommodate up to 200 students per showing. Topics include air and wind, and bugs.

Fee: $375; $175 for each repeat program.

Up in the Air
Content themes: Properties of matter, Force and Motion, Weather and Climate
How do we know the air is there? Is anything lighter than air? Investigate these questions and be blown away by our amazing air and wind devices.

Amazing Bugs
Content themes: Common Characteristics of Life, Life Cycles, Form and Function

Find out how far a grasshopper can hop, how butterflies get their wings, and more incredible insect insights!

Note: For a hands-on program with live bugs, try one of our Preschool Scientist programs: Creepy Crawly or Wiggly Worms.

Preschool Discovery Days

Each fun 45-minute program is designed to give up to 30 students the chance to expand on eligible content themes with engaging hands-on activities.

Fee: $125 for each program. Single programs available June-March. 2-program minimum April & May

Content themes: Biology: Form and Function
Use pretend and dramatic play to learn about your amazing human body!

Bubble Science
Content themes: Chemistry, Properties of Matter
Explore the ‘S’ in STEM (science) with amazing bubbles and bubble blowers.

Hello Robo!
Content themes: Technology: Influence of Emerging Technologies
What is a robot and what does it do? Learn about the ‘T’ in STEM (technology) as you interact with some robots!

Ready, Set, Roll!
Content themes: Physics: Force and Motion
Tackle the 'E' in STEM (engineering) as you build your own ramp, then test how far your ball can roll!

DUPLO® Math
Content themes: Math: Identification, Comparing
Practice your building, sorting, and pattern-making as you put the ‘M’ in STEM (math) with Duplo building blocks.

Creepy Crawly
Content themes: Biology: Form and Function
Investigate insect parts and behavior through song and dance, and make bug antennae to take home.

Wiggly Worms
Content themes: Biology: Life Cycles, Energy Flow
Open your eyes to the world of worms through literature and observing live composting worms.

Bring the Stars to Your School!

A portable planetarium? Digital technology makes it possible to bring planetarium programs to your school! Each 45-minute presentation can accommodate 30 students.

Fee: $240 for two programs; $120 for each repeat program

Family Science Events

These ready-to-go packages are perfect for school carnivals or family events. Up to 150 people can enjoy multiple table-top activities that take kids and families about 45 minutes to complete.
