In 2010, the Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair (PRSEF) will celebrate its 71st year of open competition of research projects in the fields of science, mathematics and engineering on March 26 (competition day) and March 27 (awards ceremony) at Heinz Field. This competition is open to all students in grades 6-12 from 23 counties in Western Pennsylvania and three counties in West Virginia.

As the only local International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) affiliated fair, PRSEF will nominate Senior Division students to attend ISEF in 2010.

Deadlines:

• School Registration - Nov. 16, 2009
• Student Registration - Deadline Extended until Feb. 19
• Student Forms MUST BE SUBMITTED prior to experimentation

• One copy of research paper and application Deadline Extended until March 1  
• One copy of research paper emailed Deadline Extended until March 1
• Final paperwork submission to ISEF by winners - March 30, 2010
