Let us bring the science to you!

Bring Carnegie Science Center to your troop meetings and add a splash of hands-on science! You’ve told us that sometimes troop leaders are nervous about leading science activities. We're here to help you bridge that gap by sharing fun, engaging science activities that scouts of all ages love.

Our Science on the Road team has a variety of programs to suit your scouting needs. From smaller programs for a single troop, to large-scale assembly shows for a crowd or jamboree, our presenters are total troopers when it comes to taking science fun on the road!

STEM-by-the-Hour

These programs aren't just for traditional classrooms! Get your troop launching rockets, engineering bridges, or programming a robotic car. Each program accommodates up to 30 scouts and can be adapted to fit into a 45-minute time frame.

Special Events

Rain can't ruin your stargazing plans when you book our Digital Planetarium. Up to 30 scouts can explore the galaxy from inside this inflatable dome. Or serve up a treat to your troop or camp group with some Liquid Nitrogen Smoothies.

Assembly Programs

Looking for a "Wow!" factor for your next big gathering? Want to plan something special for campers or at your next get together with another troop? Our large scale assembly programs can accommodate up to 250 people per presentation!
