Apollo 11: First Steps Edition

Witness humanity’s greatest adventure and NASA’s most historic blast-off on Pittsburgh’s bigger, bolder, better screen.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the Moon, The Rangos Giant Cinema is thrilled to present Apollo 11: First Steps Edition, the brand-new, all-archival, immersive documentary chronicling the experience of the first manned lunar mission.

The approximately 40-minute film beautifully captures one of humanity’s greatest feats, featuring never-before-seen 70mm footage and newly discovered audio recordings. A giant-screen experience unlike any other, First Steps will take you deep into the heart of this amazing endeavor, where you’ll experience the exhilarating final moments of preparation, the countdown, liftoff, landing, and return of this historic mission.

The mission stunned audiences all over America in July 1969, as they tuned in to see the action on television sets and through crackling radios. At The Rangos, experience it in premium surround sound and superior resolution and feel like you’re right there in the cockpit making history.
