Out of Town Students

Experience the Science Center at night and get the most of your Pittsburgh experience. Groups of 100 or more can schedule a private sleepover for any day of the week (subject to building availability). We can help you plan a customized program that includes your choice of special activities that fit the theme of your trip, or a Rangos Giant Cinema film.

Convention Visitors

If you're here for a convention, spend the day with us! Conveniently located and just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, the Science Center offers activities and programs that will mesmerize and inspire you. We're also the perfect place for accompanying spouses and relatives, who are seeking a fun alternative to staying at a hotel or hanging out at the Convention Center.

We cater to all types of groups!

The Science Center is the perfect location for community groups, alumni associations, science clubs, family reunions—you name it! Have a "Family Day" and engage in fellowship, laughter, bonding, and learning! Try one of our Science Sleepovers, or stay late and have a "Youth Night." Experience a laser show, a larger-than-life movie in the Rangos Giant Cinema, or even stargazing!

We have convenient packages for ordering popcorn and fountain drinks to suit your group’s needs. It makes planning your visit simpler and lowers the cost of your group’s refreshments.
